Membership

The Membership year for the SFAA runs from 01 April to 31 March.  There are a variety of ways to gain SFAA Membership.

 

Full Membership Through an Affiliated Club

If you join as a member of an Affiliated Club your membership fee is significantly discounted, and you will also qualify for additional discounts if more than one person at your address also joins the SFAA. There is also a household cap fee to make it affordable for families to join.

Discounted rates also apply to those in full time education or who are 60 years of age or over.

Membership Through an Affiliated University Club

There are two options for affiliation to the SFAA. Students may elect to be either full or associate members. Full members enjoy voting rights whereas Associates have no voting rights in return for a 50% discount.

Full Independent Membership

Full Independent Membership attracts no discounted rates afforded to those who are members of Affiliated Clubs but does confer full voting rights.

Independent Membership Applications are subject to SFAA Board approval and is granted subject to the individual being a competent archer either by assessment by an SFAA Coach or by inference through the individual's membership of another recognised archery body.

Archery Club Affiliation

Archery Clubs may apply to affiliate to the SFAA whether or not they have an active field archery course or not.  An application for club affiliation is provided in the link below
